My culture has this seasonal celebration thing going on at present
that requires me to eat and drink to the limits of my endurance, hang
decorative ornaments, cover consumer items in colourful paper and
remove the colourful paper from other consumer items.
This, as you can imagine, is quite a time consuming activity, and
involves a great deal of physical co-presence with relatives and
extended community. Consequently, I'm not able to devote as much time
as usual to the reading and writing of emails.
The internet will remember your message for me, and I'll get back to
you as soon as I recover from this annual ritual.
